City of Fargo Commission Room in City Hall, 200 3rd St. N.
City of Fargo Project #BR-18-G1 is a project included in the City’s 2018 Capitol Improvement Project list slated for construction this year. The proposed project will include; water main replacement, sewer upgrades, street lighting upgrades, traffic signal replacement (8th Ave. S.), street reconstruction, and deficient sidewalk replacement.
From City of Fargo:
We are currently in the design process and are seeking public input from area residents along and around the 4th Street South corridor between 2nd Street South (2nd Avenue South) and 13th Avenue South. The main topic of discussion at this meeting will be focused on the roadway configuration and what may be the most desired option moving forward that suits the needs of both corridor traffic and the neighborhood.
A corridor study was previously developed that outlined what the roadway would be designed for, but with recent concerns brought to our attention we feel that additional public input is needed for this corridor.
At this meeting we will show exhibits that have some different roadway configurations with variables, including on-street bike lanes, parking lanes, and turn lanes.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please send your comments to Rick Larson, Project Manager City of Fargo Engineering Dept. at [email protected]
